Grayson Hugh wrote “Stop Yer Tryin” in the back of a limo, on the way to a show he was doing in Houston, Texas.
It's a hard rocking blues, with a Hammond B3, a dobro and a screaming guitar solo, played by my friend the late Jeff Golub.
