Recorded at the legendary Power Station in New York City as a "B" side for Grayson Hugh's 1992 MCA album "Road To Freedom", "River Of Love" is a heavy, soulful blues. In it Hugh takes us down to the river, where the baptism is more of a sensual, rather than a spiritual one. Although Hugh says "those two parts of human nature aren't so different. Produced by Chic co-founder bassist Bernard Edwards, the lineup features Grayson on his beloved Hammond B3 organ, and of course vocals, the late great Jeff Golub on guitar, Al Berry on bass and Grayson's touring band drummer Larry Aberman pounding out the beat.
