There was a girl I knew from a foreign nation

I finally saved some money to get a mobile home
I drove it down to Texas just to be left alone
I got homesick for snow so I bought a Christmas tree
caught fire on Christmas Eve, now I live in a teepee
now I don’t the cold baby, I don’t mind the dirt
but I don’t like this shiverin’ without any shirt

where I ate pretty good but didn’t get any mail

There could me a moral to this tale of frustration
